Splash out for a great cause at Ku-ring-gai Fitness and Aquatic Centre

We think it’s really important that people living with disability can learn to swim and enjoy the water safely. That’s why we’re raising money for YMCA Swimathon. And we want you to get involved!

All funds we raise stay with Ku-ring-gai Fitness and Aquatic Centre and go towards our swimming programs for people living with disability.

Help us in this great cause by supporting our Staff Row-a-thon on Saturday 25 February from 7am-6pm. By giving a gold coin donation, you can get our staff to row continuously over the duration of the day.

We also encourage as many people as possible to come along to the centre on Sunday 5 March and bring the whole family for a fun day out.

Events on the day:

  • Swimathon events
  • BBQ
  • Australia Largest Indoor Aquaaerobics class (aiming to beat the record of 148 people)

If swimming isn’t for you, that’s okay. Ask in centre about how else you can support or get involved.
